I’m a relatively new part of the ABL Group family having moved with the WTW acquisition in 2021. At ABL Group I am responsible for Market relationships.

I began my insurance career in 1993 with Willis Corroon as a graduate trainee following my degree in Economics and Accounting at Queens University Belfast. I moved through various broking roles before becoming Account Director with responsibility for some of Northern Ireland’s largest businesses. From March 2020, I was part of the senior management team, leading sales and client management.

The transition to ABL Group has been great. As a NI based company, ABL Group has a total focus and understanding of the needs of businesses here. Our team now is unsurpassed in expertise, professionalism, drive and passion and it’s a real privilege to be part of it. It’s also fantastic to feel as embedded in the local economy as ABL does and to know we have the trust of the NI business community.

I look forward to developing Market relationships both locally and in London to ensure that we deliver the very best insurance solutions to our clients.

Adapting to change is something everyone at ABL Group does very naturally and that was ably demonstrated during the pandemic. The company coped admirably with the switch to remote (and then hybrid) working and didn’t drop the baton on customer service at any point during this trying time.

As we settle into the new normal, our focus is on nurturing our company culture and building on our commitment to developing our talent.

I’m a Ballymena man, born and bred and I live there still with my wife and four children where we’re active in our local church community.

When I’m not at work you might bump into me walking our Golden Labrador on one of the North Coast’s beautiful beaches or tucking into a ribeye steak in my favourite restaurant, Deane’s Meat Locker!
