New Appointments at ABL Group
ABL Group is delighted to welcome two new team members, following the acquisition of the renewal rights to Aon`s NI business.
Hugh Brennan
ABL welcomes new team member Hugh Brennan, who joins following the deal by ABL Group to acquire the renewal rights to Aon`s NI business.
Hugh is a hugely experienced corporate insurance broker with over 35 years experience in handling all classes of insurance business. Hugh started his career in Harris Marrian back in the 1980s before joining Alexander & Alexander and ultimately Aon.
In Aon, Hugh performed a number of key roles including corporate client handler, account executive and in recent years he was Team Leader of their Commercial Department, managing a book of clients across a wide range of sectors.
Hugh will be based in our corporate head office in Belfast.
Linda Lonsdale
Linda also joins the ABL team following the recent ABL Group acquisition of the renewal rights to Aon`s NI business.
Linda started in Sumner & McMillen in 1990. Sumner & McMillan was purchased by Aon in the mid 1990s and Linda has been a key member of their team.
During that time she had various roles including Commercial Account Handler and team leader of the Commercial Team (handling SME accounts) before joining the Corporate team in 2000 to look after global and large local clients. She has a wealth of experience in complex risks such as public utilities, power generation and construction accounts.
Linda was appointed as Client Service Manager in Dec 2019 which included leadership and placement strategy responsibilities.
